JEFFERY DONALDSON SEEKING THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!

With a few short weeks to go before the Assembly elections, Unionist voters could be forgiven for being a little confused.
It would clarify matters a little if the Real Jeffrey Donaldson would stand up - to lead or not to lead, that is the question.
After finally being installed as party chief in the wake of the Poots debacle, he declared his intention to return to the Assembly as quickly as possible. Since then he has spurned three opportunities to do so before this week putting his name forward for Lagan Valley. Hardly leading from the front.
His first opportunity came as Arlene Foster exited the Assembly in October - a seamless transition was just what the party needed, but no, he decided to stay on the outside looking in.
With South Down deselecting Jim Wells, another door opened for a return to the constituency in which he worked with his mentor Enoch Powell. He let that slide too.
With Edwin Poots upping sticks and moving to South Belfast to fill the gap left by the tragic loss of Christopher Stalford, it seemed an unfortunate set of circumstances had presented him with an unexpected chance to stay in Lagan Valley. But once again he politely declined - what's he afraid of?
We have to conclude that having brought down the Executive, he is busily protecting himself from the consequences of something he did.
His colleagues don't have the fall-back of a safe Westminster seat should the Assembly not return. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me.

NOW WE HAVE JEFFERY AND THE DUP'S                            HARD BREXIT
It has now emerged from the consequences of the Hard Brexit which the DUP championed as the best outcome for the people of *orthern Ireland. It wasn't the best thing for *orthern Ireland at all but you won't see anyone from the DUP standing up and accepting responsibility. Especially not the leader and party chief Jeffrey Donaldson.
Now after the debacle scenes this week regarding P&O Ferries which everyone should be made fully aware of the mess that we all seen at Larne Harbour regarding P&O Ferries would never have come to this point if it wasn't for the fault of The Conservative and Unionist Party and the hardest Brexit they could have fought for at Westminster. They were offered alternatives but said 'NO' to Theresa May and her government. So they decided to kick Theresa May out and install Boris the Clown as the new Prime Minister and took his word for it that he could deliver the Brexit the DUP had fought for. But of course Boris was lying and the Brexit that Boris and the DUP wanted was impossible to deliver. Boris lied to the DUP he also lied to the House of Commons somewhere had to give but the DUP were determined to put a Hard Border back onto the island of Ireland and actually that was one of the DUP's goals all along and also to undermine the Good Friday Agreement (GFA).
Now as a result of their uncompromising sectarian attitude we ended up with the debacle mess this week with P&O Ferries and it has now been revealed that the former party that Jeffrey Donaldson belong to before he became a member of the DUP the Ulster Unionist Party. A member of that party has his own firm and that firm is fully responsible for the handling of communications for P&O. Anyhow as I said before Boris lied and as a result of those lies the DUP agreed to the Protocol and as a result of the Protocol the DUP ended up with a Hard Border in the Irish Sea and no hard Border on the Island of Ireland in other words the DUP got DUPed by Boris & Co.
Now that it looks like Sinn Féin will become the largest party in the Stormont Assembly Elections in May the Unionist parties at Stormont will not confirm if Sinn Féin does become the largest party that they will elect a Deputy First Minister which means the Assembly may not return. They are more are less holding the Assembly to ransom (so to speak) they say they don't want a Sinn Féin First Minister but the truth be told that would not even accept any Catholic party as First Minister because they don't 'want a Catholic about the place'
Unionism is blaming the other Parties at Stormont for the Protocol and the consequences of Brexit. But the 'dogs in the street' know who is to blame it was Jeffrey Donaldson and the DUP who brought us Brexit and the Protocol and everyone on the Island of Ireland know that the mess in *orthern Ireland is down to Jeffery Donaldson and his party and I hope the electorate punish them where it hurts in the upcoming Assembly Elections. The DUP washed their hands in Public when the Tory government government forced Brexit was forced upon us against the wishes of the people here in the north. They told us it was "a democratic vote voted by the whole of the UK and that was democracy" even though they were aware that the majority here rejected Brexit and voted to 'Remain' a part of the European Union. We were more or less told to 'suck it up' but now as a consequence of Brexit we have the Protocol the DUP and other Unionist parties want to move the goalposts.
Well as the DUP has stated in the past "that's democracy' so in the end it looks like Unionism will just have to 'suck it up'.
