CORRUPTION: Another PSNI officer charged with perverting the course of Justice. IMAGE /Wesley AllsbrookANOTHER serving police officer Ryan Hughes, whose address was given as c/o District Policing Command in Newtownards, is charged with perverting the course of justice between August 20, 2018 and February 19, 2019 in that he falsely identified a named man as the driver of a quad bike, provided a witness statement claiming the man was the driver of a quad bike on the 21st August 2018".
None of the facts surrounding the charge were opened at Craigavon Magistrates Court. Returning the case to Craigavon Crown Court for trial, District Judge Bernie Kelly freed Hughes on his own bail of £500 and scheduled the arraignment to be heard on October 20th.
