‼️New rules to apply for non-Irish or British nationals crossing the Irish #border from mid-2023.

The Nationality & Borders Act means that Electronic Travel Authorisation is required even if there'll be no checks at the border.

For more, read @BenRosher's blog @DCU_Brexit_Inst on the ETA & what it means for NI/IRL 👇

Will be interesting to see if this timetable/strategy for the post-Brexit harder UK #border for people is kept to more closely than for its new border for goods 🧐

I should add - the requirement of an ETA doesn't apply to those with settled status or leave to remain in the UK.

With many thanks to: Katy Hayward and Ben Rosher for the original publication.
